The Key to Successful Blended Learning

In the digital era, the students are surrounded by all sorts of media, and they are flooded by all sorts of information that distracts students away from the suitable and properly sorted learning component. As teachers, we need to guide students to pay attention to and zoom in on what they are needed for growing their Chinese fluency.

When talking about blended Chinese language learning, it looks like a big topic when we bring it into our class instruction. However, it cannot be avoided in most the education systems nowadays, as matter of a fact. As teachers what we can do only is that we need to blend the learning content with the student’s interests.

List the required learning content on the left side and then list the way and approach that you believe can be blended in with the students’ interests on the right side. Then follow the planed to conduct in your class and see how is it going… and continue to act in the same way and do it in cycles.

This becomes a key that helps you design the right way to deliver the content with more efficiency. So the design as a start and followed by the execution are the key to successful blended Chinese language learning.
