Testimonial – Beijing Mandarin Classes

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Laura for all her hard work in teaching our son, Andrew DuCharme. Laura has been tutoring Andrew in Mandarin for over a year now. He has blossomed under her direction and is currently one of the best students in his intermediate Mandarin class at HKIS.

Laura has a kind, gentle and fun-filled personality and enjoys very much teaching children. She is patient, organized and thorough in her work. Andrew enjoys Mandarin very much and looks forward to his lesson each week with Laura. We are sorry to have to discontinue sessions with her, but our family is relocating to Singapore and will be moving in mid-December.

My son started to go to Beijing Mandarin since he was four years. He hardly knew any Chinese characters. In fact he couldn't even write.

Today he could converse comfortably with the teacher and he could read short passages and write simple sentences. I am pleased with what he has achieved so far.
